Company founder John Gunn brings over 30 years of experience in prime brokerage and corporate finance, having led GIS’s business development strategy for more than a decade. Prior to establishing the firm, he held senior roles at Hoare Govett, Carr Sheppards, Assicurazioni Generali and Williams de Broe, developing deep expertise across advisory, distribution and institutional markets.

He has advised companies across private equity and IPO transactions, supporting listings in the UK, Europe, North America and Australasia. His international perspective and commercial discipline continue to shape the firm’s strategic direction, underpinning long-standing relationships built on consistency, discretion and strategic insight.
